PAINTINGS: SELF-PORTRAITS
| When I started painting, I wanted to exceed Picasso. Nothing more natural. After a certain time and vain efforts, I sank into an interminable depressive state. After having, by chance, drawn a figure from a magazine, I understood suddenly that reality, in particular the human one, was the solution of my problems. From then on I never ceased making self-portraits. P.S. I am the most available model I ever found. |
